Indigo Resort is located on the eastern end of Perdido Key near Innerarity Point. Indigo East consists of 184 individual condos built in 2005. Indigo West is slightly smaller with only 71 units and was finished in 2006. The two towers that comprise Indigo Resort feature a laundry list of amenities that range from an elevated spa to multiple Gulf-front pools. Gulf Shores is probably the most well-known of the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast venues and offers great dining, shopping boutiques, and entertainment venues like the Gulf Shores Hangout, Waterville, and the Track. In nearby Orange Beach is Adventure Island and The Wharf and it’s amphitheater, which hosts a bevy of musical big-name acts.
Other activities that are close to Indigo include charter fishing, jet skiing, parasailing, and plenty of golf. The Lost Key Golf Club is actually minutes from Indigo Resort. The Lost Key wad designed by Arnold Palmer and is complete with a full practice facility, referred to as the “Lost Ball” by those who frequent the track. Joe Pattie’s Seafood is the areas largest seafood market and offers pretty much everything that calls the water home.
Indigo offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom condos that range in size from 1,600 square feet to 2,300 square feet. All of Indigo’s condominiums directly face the Gulf, but when elevated above the fourth floor, owners and guests can take advantage of great views of Perdido Bay, Old River, Wolf Bay, and various other inland waterways. Perdido Key is a relatively small barrier island at 274 acres and is home to many wildlife refuges and protected areas and is home to a variety of wildlife.
